Swivel Locks

A swivel lock mechanism is utilized with a swivel caster to lock its rotation so that it can only travel in a certain direction while engaged. Our swivel locks can be used for more demanding medium- to heavy-duty applications, such as aerospace ground support or heavy assembly plant floors.

Swivel locks prevent the rotation of swivel casters. When engaged, the wheel can only face one direction. High-quality swivel locks from RWM are appropriate for medium- to heavy-duty applications, including aerospace ground support and assembly plant floors.

We offer four types of swivel locks, including our demountable swivel lock, passive swivel lock, heavy-duty threaded swivel lock, and foot-operated swivel lock. The demountable version is designed for field installation or replacement of worn-out swivel locks. The swivel caster must have a notched yoke for the demountable swivel lock to operate correctly.
